The brief
Megan and Jordan's proposal took place at Amilla Maldives in Baa Atoll, a lush island of coconut palms and 400-year-old banyans inside the UNESCO biosphere reserve. It was planned for one of the resort's private residences rather than a public beach, so the moment belonged to the two of them and no one else. Ikebana Maldives designed and set the scene at the residence, working with the resort's team on timing so the set-up was ready and out of sight until it mattered. A proposal is a small event with no second take, and this one went exactly to plan.
