How much does proposal planning in the Maldives cost?
There are no fixed packages. Every wedding is designed and quoted on its own: our planning fee on one line, the resort and vendors at cost on the others, government taxes (GST) and the 10 % service charge shown. A proposal with the full cost breakdown arrives within five days and a 50 % deposit confirms production.
Which resort is best for a proposal in the Maldives?
It depends on your guest count, budget and whether the resort admits outside planners. We have published proposal work from Amilla Maldives Resort & Residences, LUX* South Ari Atoll. Smaller islands give a private feel; larger ones more venues and a ballroom for the wet-weather plan. Tell us the numbers and we will propose three islands that fit.
When should we book?
We take bookings from one month to two to five years ahead. December is peak season across the resorts, so those dates need booking months in advance; an elopement or a proposal can be arranged with a month's notice. We reply within 24 hours and hold a proposal for five days.
Can we marry legally in the Maldives?
Foreign couples cannot register a legal marriage in the Maldives, so resort weddings are symbolic ceremonies or vow renewals with the paperwork done at home. Every resort celebrant is used to it, and the ceremony is no less real for it.
